| | I ran 10 miles today, this number will be appearing very frequently in this blog. I went to the gym because it was 90 freakin' degrees. I started with a two mile warmup at 5min pace. I was planning on just doing 5 miles at once, but the NCAA indoor track championships were on the tv a couple treadmills down. Then I ran three miles starting at 5:06 pace and slowly increasing the speed. It's a shame the treadmill only goes 14mph. I ended it 3 miles in 14:35, I like running on a treadmill because it is easy to increase the pace, you just have to have the guts to keep running. Finally I ran 3 easy miles at 9pm.

| | I ran 9 miles with the team. We did a fartlek with 7 fast pickups of 2 and 3 minutes. 2,2,3,3,2,2,2 were our pickups. we started with a slow 10 minute warm-up then we started. Alex, Seth, and I broke away from the slower group. Seth is a assistant coach who is a college runner, it was useful having him around to push me. After I did abs and strides, then ran home for 2 miles. I went on a bike ride later.

| | I ran 7 miles in the morning with the team at 5:25 pace. I started out really fast because my first 2 miles were 9:57, 5:07 then a 4:50. I slowed down quite a bit after that. The rest of my run was trails and hills. I did strides and abs then ran home for 2 easy miles. I went down to the beach a little later and ran barefoot on the sand for a mile just to get some more miles in. I also did a lot of biking today.

| | I wasn't planning on doing a long run today but I went on an adventure and got lost. I ran down to sunny side park which is a little over a mile, my first mile was sub 5. I ran on the beach for a mile then headed over to the trails at chambers creek, mostly uphill. I had to cross a couple creeks and even had to go through some waist high water. The trails spit me out onto a smaller trail that lead to a culdesac. I had no idea where I was but I decided to just go with it, 'cause I had nowhere to be. I kept on getting turned around and running into dead ends, so that slowed down my pace a little. I got to fort steilacoom park then ran home from there. my last mile and a half was a 4:50 pace. I ended the run at 9.25 miles at a 5:30 pace then I did a cool down to finish off my 10.

| | I started out m day with a good breakfast and a really intense dog walk. Zoey really enjoys peeing on everything she sees, so there were a lot of breaks inbetween. I honestly just sat around the rest of the day. I watched some family feud, spongebob, mythbusters, another weird gameshow that I can't think its name right now, I spent a lot of my time drawing a picture of a beautiful woman. I didn't end up going on my run until 9:45. I ran 10 miles in 54:45, that's a 5:28 pace. It wasn't incredibly hard because I brought someone along with me, but they don't know it. I'm sure that reading this out of context is really confusing, but I really just don't give a crap. " DO IT, JUST DO IT!!! DON'T LET YOUR DREAMS BE DREAMS. YESTERDAY YOU SAID TOMORROW, SO JUST DO IT!!! MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE. JUST DO IT!!! SOME PEOPLE DREAM ABOUT SUCCESS, WHILE YOU'RE GONNA WAKE UP AND WORK HARD AT IT. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! YOU SHOULD GET TO THE POINT WHERE EVERYONE ELSE WOULD QUIT, AND YOU'RE NOT GONNA STOP THERE, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? DO IT!!! JUST DO IT!!! YES YOU CAN!!! JUST DO IT!!! IF YOU'RE TIRED OF STARTING OVER, STOP GIVING UP, akward pectoral flex. Motivational quote of the day made possible by Shia LaBeouf. These won't become daily things, I was just bored.

| | I went to the gym today. I started out on the treadmill and ran a full 5K in 15:17, which equals last years PR. Then I went on the elliptical and ran another 5K because the display lets you go around a little virtual course, it's quite fun. Then I did some abs and weight training, I wanted to stay longer but I got kicked out for intimidating people with my swoll muscles. Actually I go on base to use the gym and all the army guys are huge, I am always the scronniest guy at the gym, but still the fastest HAHA!!! Then I went home and tried to get fat, sadly i did not succeed.

| | Today I went on a run around 3. It was hot as balls, not quite 95 degrees but close. I ran 3 miles then I went to this private patch of sand that nobody knows about and took a dip in the ocean. It was about 60 degrees so it felt really good. I ran a mile back home which made that 4 then later I got back home late and wanted to do a 6 miler but just felt tired, so I did a short 3 instead.

| | I just lied around all day because I just felt glum. I did go biking around 3 just cuz. I finally got out of the house at 9 O'clock to go run because it was freakin hot today. I took a short nap around 7 and Shia LaBeouf came to me in a dream; he whispered in my ear............ "JUST DO IT!!!" I then quickly woke up and was instantly motivated. I ran a loop that I usually do for long runs that is 9 miles, but my garmin said it was only 8; it kept on disconnecting with the satelites. I ran it at just under 5:30 pace, not too hard. Since my garmin lied to me I just did an easy mile so I can say I ran 9 miles without feeling guilty. So I know I ran 10 miles...... but my watch says otherwise.

| | I ran the down and dirty 5k on JBLM. I warmed up for 2 miles before, when I started I was out into the lead pretty quick, the course was very confusing with lots of obstacles and mud. The first half mile there were no obstacles but I had to follow a guy on a 4 wheeler on a narrow dirt road, it was very dusty. it didn't take long for me to get lost because after the second obstacle which was a dirt/mud wall climb, the guys told me to go left when I was suppose to go right. There were a whole bunch of obstacles like wall climbs, hurdles, tire runs, mud crawls under chicken wire, fire hoses to clean you off, and just a crap load of mud. I won the race.... but I timed it on my garmin and I ran just over 2 miles in a little over 11 minutes. When they told me to go the wrong way it cut a whole mile off the course. There were no official results because they weren't timing it. There were 4 waves of people that ran, and since I finished so early and didn't run the whole course I decided to run it again and get even dirtier. I didn't time it the second time because it was just for fun. If I had to guess I finished it in high 16's of low 17's. It was hard to push myself because the second time around the course was really crowded and I had to wait for other people to go over the obstacles, but I did the best I could. So I ended up running over 5 miles on the course then did a 2 mile cool down.

| | I was lazy today... Oh yeah you heard me, Talon Hull was lazy, I couldn't believe it either. I just ran 3 miles but I went down to the beach earlier and just hung out, I also biked about 7 miles. For the most part it was just a lazy day for me. Feels pretty dang good :)
