The trail is very gradual and consistent in its gradient so you can keep up an honest pace throughout the entirety of the run. Noticed that I was having some damn back problems, probably because I haven't done abs in a couple weeks. Getting back on a daily ab routine so I can get back into that sexy beach body shape. #grind

Sun, 13 Aug 2017 06:00:00 Thu, Aug 10, 2017 http://TalonHullFastRunningBlog.fastrunningblog.com/blog-08-10-2017.html
Hard day for Mileage, did a bunch today to make up for yesterday (only ran 5 miles) and sat in a car for a lot of the day coming back from a river rafting trip on the snake river with my coaches, BJ, and Addison. 'twas fun. Ran 10 this morning @ 5:48 average, started out slower but picked up on the second half. Stopped by McKenna's house at 8.2 miles because she wasn't feeling well. Good run, kinda toasty because I got out later. Second Run was unintentionally quick did 6 miles in 32:01, that's 5:20 pace. Splits were 6:19, 5:34, 5:17, 5:17, 5:01, and 4:31 (started out slower but finished fast because of a gradual up hill at the start then downhill at the end) really quick run for a high mileage day. I'll be feeling it tomorrow. Still loving running and excited for college. Still feel the World Championships race in my legs, hardest race i've ever done, still sore and it was 4 days ago. I'm in Steilacoom Washington right now, it's beautiful and running feels pretty effortless. Excited to get up to Seattle in a couple of weeks and really get after it with some college training.
Wed, 02 Aug 2017 06:00:00 Tue, Jul 18, 2017 http://TalonHullFastRunningBlog.fastrunningblog.com/blog-07-18-2017.html
4.5 for the first run then 7.5 for the second. Ran over to the park to help all my homies set up a water slide. We made a line of tarps going down a big A hill then lathered our bodies in dish soap and sent it bro! A friendly police officer kindly told us to stop because it was killing the grass... cops. Peeled a bunch of limes later for a race on thursday then watched a movie about 2 sisters being stuck in a pool then went on a nice run with the one and only Jacob Lee. Ran into a mail box because we didn't have headlamps and we were blinded by a car. I'm fine, thanks for asking, but you should've seen that mailbox. Nice recovery run on the legs. Ran around 9pm and had the privilege to run through lots and lots of sprinklers. Give me that sweet sweet reservoir water. Mmm
Sun, 16 Jul 2017 06:00:00 Sat, Jul 15, 2017 http://TalonHullFastRunningBlog.fastrunningblog.com/blog-07-15-2017.html
Hard long run. Started in the middle of Ogden canyon then ran up cold water and all the way back down then back up on the Indian trail. Followed the trail all the way down the mountain to rainbow gardens then finished it off a ways down the parkway. Lost of climbing and descending, the trail portion of the run, the first 8ish miles, were terrific; I was flying up and down those trails. When I got on the parkway that's when the heat hit me and it turned into a moist, hot, sweaty grind. Jumped in the river after repping my HJP merch and took some sexy photos.

Sat, 15 Jul 2017 06:00:00 Fri, Jul 14, 2017 http://TalonHullFastRunningBlog.fastrunningblog.com/blog-07-14-2017.html
6 easy miles around shoshone falls up in twin falls Idaho. spent most of the day chillin' on the lake. I discovered a new found respect and passion for John Denver after a very long car ride with my friend Nate Staker, had the song Rocky Mountain High stuck in my brain for both of my runs today. Speaking of... So I did a 4 mile tempo on the Ogden River Parkway @ 5:15 pace. Felt really relaxed but I couldn't help but feel like I was being judged and watched, but that's what I get for wearing nothing but Jungle pattern short shorts and sprinting down the path. Took a nice little bath in the river because I smelled like the backend of an Elephant; the ice bath was purely for aesthetic purposes, not recovery. Laid around for a while watching Arrow for a while. I just finished the last season, I honestly don't know what I am going to do with my life now... probably run. My second run of the day was a 9.5 mile trail run straight up the mountain. About 2.5 miles of straight up hill and bushwacking until I actually got on the main trail, it was fun but miserable at the same time. I'd estimate that I gathered at least 269 stickers or goat heads in my shoe on the ball of my foot and other ball like body parts. Finished up my run along the bonneville shoreline trail up above North Ogden then over to Big Rock then down to my house. Hard day on the legs, maybe I should've Ice bathed.
Thu, 13 Jul 2017 06:00:00
